Eleanor "Ellie" F. Muirhead, 82, formerly of Vincent St., Syracuse passed away Sunday evening November 1, 2026 at Geneva General Hospital.
She was born in Auburn, the daughter of the late William and Gladys ( Baker) Lee and had resided most of her life in Syracuse. 'Ellie' as she was affectionately known, worked in the medical billing department for the former Plaza Nursing Home and more recently named, Rosewood Heights Health Center in Syracuse. She was an avid Syracuse University sports fan and especially enjoyed traveling over the years, which included some of her favorite locations like Ireland and Boston.
She is survived by her loving family, brother-in-law, Hans Roth; sisters-in-law, Lynnette Lee, Susan (John Sr.) Shehadi; nephews, John (Lori) Roth, John (Erica) Shehadi Jr., Michael (Kami) Shehadi, David Lee, Jeffrey Shehadi; niece, Stacey (Steve) Shehadi Washburn; several great nieces and nephews and one great-great nephew.

In addition to her parents, Ellie was also predeceased by her husband, Richard; stepmother, Elizabeth Lee; sister, Edna Roth; and brother, Richard Lee.
Calling hours are this Sunday, November 8th from 1-3 pm in the Pettigrass Funeral Home, 196 Genesee St., Auburn.
