Turning Stone ATMs return; casinos remain cash only Wednesday

Turning Stone Enterprises says its casinos will remain cash only Wednesday, Nov. 4, as services gradually return following this week's cybersecurity incident. ATMs at Turning Stone are back online, and machines at Point Place and YBR are expected to resume service Wednesday morning.

Credit card payments have resumed at all Maple Leaf Markets and SavOn convenience stores, the company said Tuesday evening. That is an exception to the continued cash-only restrictions at its other affected properties.

TS Rewards benefits will remain unavailable Wednesday. Bingo and TS Sports sportsbooks will not open that day.

The service limitations affect Turning Stone Resort Casino, Point Place Casino Hotel, YBR Casino and Sports Book, The Lake House and the company's Maple Leaf Markets and SavOn stores, with card payments restored at the convenience stores.

The company said it has restored several services since its previous update and expects more to resume during the rest of the week. It directed guests to the Turning Stone website and Facebook page for the latest information and said updates will continue until the issues are fully resolved.

Cybersecurity incident disrupted services Monday

The company previously said a cybersecurity incident affected some network and communications systems Monday morning, Nov. 2. It shut down certain systems as a precaution to protect guest information.

In its Monday evening notice, Turning Stone Enterprises said it was working with cybersecurity experts and was not aware at that time of confidential information having been accessed.

That earlier notice advised guests to bring cash Tuesday because ATMs would be offline and credit cards would not be accepted. It also suspended TS Rewards benefits, Bingo and TS Sports for Tuesday while saying the properties would remain open.
