ArtSpace36 in downtown Canandaigua will hold a free reception and wine tasting Nov. 12 for an exhibit celebrating collaboration between Finger Lakes Community College's graphic design and winemaking programs.
The event for “The Art of Collaboration: Graphic Design and Viticulture” runs from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at 36 S. Main St. and is open to the public, according to an FLCC news release.
For more than a decade, graphic design students have competed to create labels for wines made by students in the college's viticulture and wine technology program. The exhibit includes wine-label designs and photographs of students harvesting grapes and making wine.
Featured designers include Rachel Graf, a 2020 graduate who attended Wayne Central High School and created the Foundations label; Alexis Ecker, a 2025 graduate from Erie County who designed Astrae Via; and Noah Estrella, a 2017 graduate who attended Bloomfield Central School and created In Transit.
The exhibit closes Nov. 28. Gallery hours are noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday. For information, contact artspace36@flcc.edu or 585-905-3231.
