A Town of Rose woman faces a second-degree criminal contempt charge after Wayne County sheriff's deputies said she called a person protected by a court order.
The sheriff's office identified the woman as Gracie Jones, 20, of Lyman Street in the Town of Rose. The charge stems from an incident reported Sept. 27 on Glasgow Street in the village of Clyde.
Deputies said Jones contacted the protected person by phone despite a duly served order of protection.
The sheriff's office said Jones was released at CAP court to await arraignment.
