A Penn Yan teenager was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of alcohol and a traffic violation after a vehicle stop in the village Oct. 10, according to Penn Yan police.
Officers working on a separate incident said they saw Seth McCormick, 19, driving aggressively and repeatedly using his horn in a manner not allowed by law.
Police stopped McCormick's vehicle and reported seeing two cans of alcoholic beverages inside.
Officers took possession of the alcohol because McCormick was younger than 21, police said.
McCormick was released on tickets to appear in Penn Yan Village Court at a later date.
