Officers responded Oct. 1 to the pizzeria at 61 North St. after a customer reported that she had accidentally left her wallet on the counter and left the restaurant.

Police said surveillance video showed Johnson entering shortly after the customer left, finding the wallet on the counter and taking money from it to pay for her order.

Johnson then left with the wallet, which contained credit and debit cards, police said.

After she turned herself in, Johnson was taken to the Cayuga County Jail and held pending arraignment, according to the release.
