UR Medicine's mobile mammography van is scheduled to offer breast screenings in Auburn on Tuesday, Oct. 20, at the Cayuga County Office Building parking lot.
The stop at 160 Genesee St. is being presented by Cayuga County and the 7th Judicial District Gender Fairness Committee, according to their event flyer. The visit is part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Appointments are strongly recommended. Walk-ins may be seen if space is available, the organizers said.
People can schedule a screening by calling 1-844-870-0002 or emailing mammovan@urmc.rochester.edu. UR Medicine's mobile mammography program says the van is wheelchair-accessible and equipped for 3D mammography.
The event flyer does not list screening hours. People planning to attend can use the scheduling phone number or email to confirm an appointment time.
