Livingston County voters can cast ballots in person from Oct. 24 through Nov. 1 before the Nov. 3 general election. The county's only early-voting site is at the Board of Elections office, 6 Court St., rooms 205 and 208, in Geneseo.
The nine-day schedule, published in a Livingston County election notice, includes two evenings when the site will remain open until 8 p.m. All other early-voting days run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The office will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24; Sunday, Oct. 25; and Monday, Oct. 26. Voting hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27.
The site returns to 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, and stays open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30; Saturday, Oct. 31; and Sunday, Nov. 1.
All registered Livingston County voters may vote early at that location, according to the Board of Elections' early-voting page. Voters check in, receive a ballot and cast it as they would on Election Day. Anyone who votes early cannot cast a second ballot on Nov. 3.
Election officials advise residents to check their registration and review a sample ballot before choosing how to vote. For election information, call the Livingston County Board of Elections at 585-243-7090.
