An Auburn woman was charged with third-degree criminal trespass Saturday after deputies investigated a report of a burglary in progress in Phelps, according to the Ontario County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies arrested Mackenzie McMillen, 26, at 1609 Maryland Road at about 11:45 a.m., the sheriff's office said.
The release did not say whether anyone was charged with burglary or provide further details about the initial report.
New York State Police assisted with the investigation.
McMillen was issued an appearance ticket and is due in Phelps Town Court at a later date.
