Keuka College has named four instructors to its fall STAR Faculty Panel, set for 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, in the Hawkins Lounge of the Dahlstrom Student Center. The forum focuses on their teaching and experiences.
The college said the Faculty Development Committee sponsors the forum, which gives members of the college community a chance to hear from selected instructors and submit questions.
The panelists are Gordon Brown, an assistant professor of adolescent education who received the committee's Academic Advising Award; biology instructor Jessica Katolik, recipient of the Excellence in Experiential Learning Award; and social work instructor Tracey Leet, recipient of the Excellence in Academic Achievement Award.
Mathematics instructor Jack Westbrook, who received the Excellence in Teaching Award, also will take part. Faculty peers select STAR panelists each semester for excellence in experiential learning and academic achievement.
Provost Heather Maldonado will moderate the discussion. The college said its community is encouraged to attend.
