A Williamson man faces four charges after Wayne County sheriff’s deputies investigated a disturbance and a report of impaired driving at a Tops store in the town of Ontario.
The Sheriff’s Office said the disturbance and harassment complaint arose about 6:44 p.m. Sept. 11. Its investigation also led deputies to examine whether the man had driven while intoxicated.
Deputies arrested Thomas Galloway, 59, on charges of second-degree harassment, driving while intoxicated, obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest, according to an Oct. 2 sheriff’s release. The release did not detail the conduct underlying each charge.
Galloway was released with appearance tickets for court proceedings at a later date. The Sheriff’s Office did not specify a court or appearance date in its release.
