The closure covers Mendon-Ionia Road between Mendonshire Drive and Boughton Hill Road in the Monroe County town, according to a New York State Department of Transportation advisory.

The posted detour will use Boughton Hill Road, Bloomfield Road and Parrish Road. The department warned drivers to expect delays and consider another route during the closure.
