An Ontario County sheriff’s investigation into a reported burglary in progress led to the arrest of a Geneva woman early Wednesday at an apartment on Sunlight Lane.
Juliana Eldridge, 22, was charged with second-degree burglary and endangering the welfare of a child, the sheriff’s office said.
Deputies said Eldridge forced her way into an apartment at 3044 Sunlight Lane in the town of Geneva, harassed a person inside and yelled while acting erratically. The sheriff’s office said children were inside the apartment and that her actions endangered their welfare.
Eldridge was arrested at about 2:15 a.m. and taken to the Ontario County Jail for an appearance in centralized arraignment court, according to the release. Geneva police assisted the sheriff’s office with the investigation.
