Geneva ReUse Systems plans Halloween pop-up sale Oct. 31

ReUse Systems will hold a Halloween pop-up sale Oct. 31 at its new location inside the Geneva Enterprise Development Center, offering secondhand furniture, housewares, doors and shelving.

The Geneva nonprofit said in a release forwarded to the newsroom that the sale will run from 10 in the morning until 1 in the afternoon at 122 North Genesee Street, Suite A100.

Families may bring children for Halloween treats, and costumes are encouraged. The organization described the items as gently used; it did not provide prices or a complete inventory in the announcement.

ReUse Systems collects usable furniture, fixtures, equipment and building materials and returns them to use rather than sending them to landfills. Its work involves educational institutions, businesses, municipalities and community partners in Ontario County and the wider Finger Lakes region.

The Oct. 31 sale will be held at the nonprofit's Geneva Enterprise Development Center location from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
