Families can attend a free Trunk or Treat event in Geneva on Friday, Oct. 30, from 3 to 6 p.m.
Friendly Ford Geneva and Friendly CDJR Geneva will host the event at their Routes 5 and 20 dealerships. Local businesses, community members and dealership employees will decorate vehicles and hand out candy.
Organizers said the event will also include a bounce house, a costume contest, a best-trunk contest, apple cider, doughnuts and music.
Thrive to Survive Organization plans to bring a superhero-themed trunk featuring Worry X, a character the organization uses to encourage conversations about stress and asking for help.
Admission is free. The event is scheduled to end at 6 p.m.
