Scott Spezzano will retire from his morning show on Rochester's 98.9 The Buzz at the end of the year, according to 13WHAM.
His final broadcast is scheduled for Dec. 18, the 50th anniversary of the start of his radio career.
Spezzano has co-hosted with Sandy Waters since 1999, first on 98 PXY and then on The Buzz after the pair moved stations in 2014.
Waters will remain with The Breakfast Buzz after he leaves.
Spezzano said he wants more time with his family and plans to use his remaining shows to share stories from their years on the air.
