The Phelps-Clifton Springs Central School District has appointed Dan Friday as its business manager, the district announced Tuesday.
Friday previously served as director of facilities for the East Rochester Union Free School District, where he oversaw facilities, food service and transportation, according to the Midlakes release.
He also served in a similar role at the North Rose-Wolcott Central School District. Friday holds a bachelor's degree in business management and a master's degree in human resource management. He is pursuing a certificate of advanced study in school district business leadership at SUNY Brockport.
Friday succeeds Karl Dubash, who held the Midlakes position since November 2021. Dubash resigned at the end of the 2025-26 school year to take an assistant superintendent role with the Pittsford school district.
Richard Walker had served as interim business manager since the spring, the district said.
