A Geneva woman was arrested Friday and charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon after a months-long investigation into narcotics sales in the city, police said.
Gwendolyn McFadden, 47, was arrested on Exchange Street, according to the Geneva Police Department's Sept. 28 arrest blotter.
Police said the weapon charge stems from a search warrant executed at McFadden's home in September 2025.
The blotter did not describe the weapon or say how the earlier search led to Friday's arrest.
McFadden was processed at the Geneva Police Department and taken to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment, police said.
She was released without bail and is due in Geneva City Criminal Court at a later date, according to the department.
