Thomas Earl Dombrowski, 66, of Seneca Falls, NY, passed away on September 25, 2026, at Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua, NY.
Tom was born on November 10, 1959, in Waterloo, NY, the son of the late Joseph and Faye Coleman Dombrowski.
A familiar face to many throughout the area, Tom spent much of his working life in the restaurant and bar business. A true jack of all trades, he could be found behind the bar, helping in the kitchen, or doing whatever needed to be done. Over the years, he worked at several local establishments, including Romeo’s, Red’s, Red Brick Pub and Dewey’s, as well as Finger Lakes Racetrack.
Anyone who knew Tom knew his quick wit, sarcasm, and stubborn streak. He loved to golf, take his chances on a scratch-off ticket, and place a bet on professional soccer. He was happiest surrounded by the people he cared about, often with a vodka lemonade or Twisted Tea in hand. Friday mornings were reserved for his longtime “Safety Meeting” group, where good conversation, laughter, and plenty of stories were always shared.
More than anything, Tom loved his daughters and his grandchildren, who meant the world to him. He was always proud to be on the sidelines watching his daughters play sports while they were growing up, and as a grandfather, he loved having the chance to do it all over again. He took great pride in attending his granddaughters’ games and cheering them on, and being there to watch them play was something he truly enjoyed.
Tom is survived by his three daughters, Felecia Dombrowski, Taylor Dombrowski, and Sarah (Greg) Jankowiak; and his five granddaughters, Blakely Mele, Carmella O’Hora, Jenna Jankowiak, Layla Jankowiak, and Evelyn Jankowiak.
He is also survived by his brothers, Rick (Maureen) Dombrowski and Randy (Valeria) Dombrowski, as well as several nieces and nephews, extended family, and many friends.
Tom was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Faye Coleman Dombrowski, and his sister, JoAnn Caratozzolo.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Mayfield Funeral Services. Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Tom’s life on Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Clam Man’s Party House, 67 Auburn Road, Seneca Falls, NY 13148.
