The Canandaigua Police Department is recruiting prospective officers ahead of an upcoming civil service exam scheduled for Oct. 17.
Applications for the exam are due by 11:59 p.m. Sept. 25. The department is directing interested candidates to the Ontario County Human Resources website for application materials and additional information.
Applicants must file for exam No. 60070-850 and submit the required application fee by the deadline.
The recruitment push is aimed at people interested in becoming Canandaigua police officers and joining the city department.
The civil service exam is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 17.
