Geneva’s 11th annual Walk Out of the Darkness will be held Sept. 20 to promote suicide prevention, awareness, healing and community support.
Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m., with the walk scheduled to start at 1 p.m., though the event announcement doesn’t list the walk’s location.
The event is sponsored by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s Out of the Darkness Community Walks program and endorsed by Geneva City Schools.
Organizers describe the walk as an opportunity to bring hope, start conversations and support suicide prevention efforts.
