Ontario County sheriff's deputies arrested two men on petit larceny charges Aug. 29 after a traffic stop in East Bloomfield, according to the sheriff's office.
Stephen A. Petrone, 64, of East Rochester, and Gary S. Tilley, 48, of Canandaigua, were taken into custody around 8:10 p.m. near the intersection of Whalen Road and Half Mile Drive.
Deputies said the arrests followed an investigation into a reported larceny at 2944 Whalen Road in Bloomfield.
Both men were issued appearance tickets.
They are scheduled to appear in East Bloomfield Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
