Two dogs were removed from a Victor home earlier this month after investigators found them living in unsanitary conditions, according to the Ontario County Humane Society.
New York State Police began an animal cruelty investigation Aug. 3 at a home on Berkshire Lane, where investigators said a female German Shepherd and a male Boxer were living amid feces and urine throughout the residence.
Both dogs were removed from the home and taken to a local shelter for care.
Police arrested 45-year-old Anthony Lupinetti and charged him with two counts of animal cruelty.
Lupinetti was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to return to Victor Town Court at a later date.
