More than 11,000 people are expected at CMAC in Canandaigua tonight for a Luke Bryan concert, prompting a traffic warning from the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Parking lots open at 3:30 p.m., gates open at 5:30 p.m. and the show is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
The sheriff’s office said drivers should expect heavier traffic around CMAC before and after the concert and allow extra time to reach the venue.
Deputies are also warning motorists to watch for increased pedestrian traffic and follow posted traffic patterns and law enforcement directions in the area.
With the large crowd expected, congestion is likely to build during the late afternoon and again after the concert ends.
The sheriff’s office encouraged concertgoers to plan ahead and travel safely.
