A woman was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated after Wayne County sheriff's deputies said she struck several street signs and left the scene of a property damage crash in Sodus.
April L. Disanto, 43, provided a voluntary breath sample showing a blood alcohol content of 0.21%, according to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office. She was charged with aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content of 0.18% or higher, DWI, failure to maintain lane and leaving the scene of a property damage accident.
Deputies said they responded Aug. 14 to a report of a vehicle leaving a crash on Route 14. Investigators alleged Disanto left the road, struck multiple street signs and drove away.
Deputies located Disanto around 6 p.m. on Lake Road in Sodus and determined she was intoxicated, the Sheriff's Office said. She was released with an appearance ticket for Sodus Town Court.
