Two Ontario residents were arrested after Wayne County sheriff's deputies said an EMS call led to confrontations with officers during an attempted detention.
Evan W. Bliss, 22, and Amanda L. Lennox, 40, both of North Lincoln Road in the town of Ontario, were charged following the Aug. 10 incident, according to the Sheriff's Office.
Deputies charged Bliss with second-degree obstructing governmental administration and two counts of second-degree harassment. They alleged he spit at deputies twice and resisted a lawful detention.
Lennox was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration and second-degree harassment. Deputies alleged she shoved an officer while trying to prevent Bliss' detention.
Both were issued appearance tickets for Ontario Town Court at 1 p.m. Sept. 2.
