The Macedon Police Department reported 13 arrests spanning late June through early August, including multiple assault, grand larceny and drunken driving cases, but released no narratives explaining what allegedly occurred in any of the incidents.
The department’s summary identified the people arrested, their charges and how they were processed, but did not disclose locations, alleged victims, injuries, property losses or the circumstances leading to several of the more serious charges.
Two people were charged with second-degree assault, a felony under New York law.
Jared Burns, 40, of Batavia, was arrested July 1 and transported for centralized arraignment. Damian Tatchell, 36, of Macedon, was arrested Aug. 1 and also taken for centralized arraignment.
Police did not say whether either arrest involved a weapon, serious physical injury or another circumstance supporting the felony charge. The department also did not indicate whether the two cases were connected.
Steven Fetterly, 42, of Macedon, was charged July 2 with third-degree assault and transported for arraignment.
Dustin Proctor, 26, of Palmyra, was arrested the same day on warrants involving resisting arrest, falsely reporting an incident and third-degree assault. He was taken for centralized arraignment, but police did not provide information about the original incidents or when they allegedly occurred.
Michael Paul, 31, of Farmington, was charged July 2 with driving while intoxicated and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. He was issued tickets to appear in Macedon Town Court.
The department did not report Paul’s alleged blood alcohol content, where the traffic stop occurred or why his license was allegedly suspended or revoked.
Joshua Karnes, 20, and Joshua Sprague, 30, both of Rochester, were each charged July 22 with fourth-degree grand larceny and fifth-degree conspiracy.
Karnes was issued an appearance ticket, while Sprague was transported for centralized arraignment. Police did not identify what was allegedly stolen, its value or the basis for the conspiracy charge.
The remaining arrests primarily involved alleged petit larceny and failure to appear in court.
Denise Williams-Lattimore, 57, and Shaneeka Riggins, 33, both of Rochester, were charged with petit larceny following separate arrests June 24 and June 27.
Brooklyn Rodriguez, 24, of Macedon, was charged with petit larceny June 28.
Chad Mott, 45, of Palmyra, was charged July 4 with two counts of petit larceny.
All four were issued appearance tickets for Macedon Town Court.
Raven Wilson, 28, of Palmyra, was arrested July 3 on a third-degree bail jumping charge and a warrant for petit larceny. Deanna Salamone, 37, of Rochester, faced the same charges following a July 16 arrest.
Both were transported for centralized arraignment.
The department did not identify the businesses, homes or other locations involved in the larceny cases. It also did not disclose the value or type of property allegedly taken.
All charges are accusations, and the defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
