Two people were taken to F.F. Thompson Hospital after a two-car crash caused one vehicle to roll several times Monday evening at Shortsville and Sandhill roads in the town of Farmington, according to a sheriff’s office news release.
The sheriff’s office said both occupants remained inside their vehicles and reported minor injuries, including head and arm pain.
Victor Farmington Ambulance took the two people to the hospital. Manchester and Shortsville firefighters also responded and temporarily closed the intersection for about an hour.
The crash was reported at about 7:40 p.m. The sheriff’s office said the driver blamed for the crash was issued a traffic ticket for failing to yield the right of way at a stop sign.
The driver is scheduled to answer the ticket in Farmington Town Court at a later date.
