A Palmyra man was charged with aggravated felony driving while intoxicated after deputies investigated a report of a sick or intoxicated driver in Farmington, the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies stopped a vehicle on Sheldon Road at about 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, and identified the driver as Jared Power, 37.
The sheriff’s office alleged Power showed significant signs of intoxication during the roadside investigation. He was taken to the Ontario County Jail, where authorities said a chemical breath test measured his blood alcohol content at 0.25%.
Power was issued several traffic citations and held for centralized arraignment.
