Bath Rotary Club members helped raise more than $35,000 through the Camp STAR Golf Tournament and sponsorships, according to WETM.
The tournament was held July 20 at Indian Hill Golf Course, where Brandi Graham won the women’s closest-to-the-pin contest and Kellie Okoniewski made an 83-yard chip-in.
Camp STAR will run Aug. 9-14 at The Y at Watson Woods near Painted Post.
The six-day overnight program serves children ages 6 to 12 with physical or developmental disabilities and expects about 65 campers this year.
Fundraising and support from Rotary District 7120 clubs allow children to attend at no cost despite expenses exceeding $700 per camper.
