A six-day food truck fundraiser will support Crystal Beach Fire Rescue and its volunteer first responders from Aug. 3 through Aug. 8.
The fundraiser will run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily at the fire station at 4468 State Route 364 in Canandaigua, organizers announced Monday.
Firehouse Concessions' Hometown Heroes food trucks will serve pizza, specialty subs, wraps, salads, soups, sides and desserts. A portion of proceeds will go to Crystal Beach Fire Rescue.
Organizers said the money will support the department's fire protection, rescue services, public safety response, training and community readiness work in the Crystal Beach and Canandaigua Lake area.
Firehouse Concessions operates fundraising food trucks for emergency service agencies across New York and Pennsylvania. The firefighter-owned company said its fundraisers contribute up to 20% of sales to host agencies.
Since 2019, the company said it has donated more than $989,000 to local fire, emergency medical services and police agencies. Its programs currently serve more than 130 emergency service organizations.
