The Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel presented a $25,000 donation Tuesday to T-Burg Takes on Pediatric Cancer, according to the hotel.
The money came from proceeds raised during the hotel’s 14th annual Fire & Ice Celebration, held Jan. 29-31.
The Watkins Glen event has generated $285,000 for regional charities over the years, including the Red Cross and Schuyler Health Foundation.
Hart Hotels President and CEO David Hart said similar events at the company’s Clayton and Chautauqua properties have helped raise a combined $670,000 for charitable organizations.
T-Burg Takes on Pediatric Cancer provides financial assistance to families whose children are undergoing cancer treatment.
