Newark, Lyons, Clyde and Savannah will hold the Treasures Along the Erie community garage sale Saturday, Aug. 1, with residents and businesses invited to participate.
Sellers can be added to the event map at no charge by contacting their participating community before noon Wednesday, July 29.
Online maps and sale listings will be available Friday, July 31, through the Village of Newark website. Printed copies will be available the day of the sale at the Newark Welcome Center, 199 Van Buren St., and the Lyons Farmers Market.
Businesses along the route are also encouraged to hold sidewalk sales. Newark will waive its garage sale permit requirement for the Aug. 1 weekend.
