Victor Farmington Ambulance is launching a free internship for people interested in emergency medical services. The pilot program is designed for participants with no prior EMS experience.
The 11-hour program is part of a New York State Department of Health initiative and can help participants qualify for state funding toward EMT certification.
Sessions are scheduled for July 14, July 16 and July 20 from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Enrollment is limited.
