Downtown Ithaca visitors can help shape safer, more comfortable streets this month through guided walk audits, according to The Tompkins Weekly.
The Downtown Ithaca Alliance will use the one-hour sessions to collect observations about accessibility, comfort and pedestrian conditions, especially near downtown bus stations.
Sessions start at Center Ithaca, 171 E. M.L.K. Jr. St., at The Commons entrance. Volunteers need no planning or engineering experience, and participants will be entered into a raffle for more than $400 in gift cards.
