Yates County Corrections Officer Judy Hoover has retired after more than three decades with the Sheriff's Office.
The Yates County Sheriff's Office said Hoover began as a part-time corrections officer in 1994 and became a full-time corrections officer in 1997.
The agency marked her retirement last Friday with a celebration attended by friends, family, current coworkers and former coworkers.
Sheriff Frank Ryan presented Hoover with a retirement award and badge during the celebration, according to the Sheriff's Office.
The agency credited Hoover for her positive attitude and service over 32 years and wished her well in retirement.
