The first Finger Lakes Growers Showcase will be held Sunday, June 28, at Lincoln Hill Farms in Canandaigua, bringing together small-batch New York cannabis farmers and processors for an adults-only marketplace.
The event, presented by Evergreen Retail and Sunwalker Farms, is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 3792 NY-247. Admission is free for adults 21 and older with valid ID.
Organizers describe the event as the first legal cannabis showcase event in New York, structured like a farmers market where attendees can purchase small-batch, farm-to-table cannabis and cannabis products from local cultivators and brands.
Participating businesses listed by organizers include 6 Point Cannabis of Rochester, Circle Hill Rosin of Wayne, Dreaming Tree Farm of Saratoga, Gage Farms of Yates, Grass Roots Wellness of East Rochester, FLWR CITY of Rochester, Forest Flower of Canandaigua, Leadfarmer of Bainbridge and Oasis Cannabis of East Amherst.
Organizers include Karen Tobin of Evergreen Retail, Curt Boshnack of Sunwalker Farms and Brian Mastrosimone of Lincoln Hill Farms.
After shopping the showcase, guests may also attend Lincoln Hill Farms’ Sunday Sessions, a concert series featuring local musicians, artisans and vendors.
Organizers said the event is intended to support local cannabis businesses, agriculture and the growing cannabis tourism industry in New York.
