A groundbreaking ceremony for the Curtiss Hill project in Hammondsport is scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, at 15 Bauder Ave.
The project will preserve the former Glenn Curtiss Memorial School and convert the building into housing and commercial space.
According to the event announcement, Curtiss Hill will create 24 apartments in former classrooms.
The former gymnasium will be converted into commercial space.
