A 20-year-old Lyons man was charged with assault after deputies said a disturbance earlier this month left another person injured.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Office said Josiah Z. Baker, of Phelps Street in Lyons, was arrested after an investigation into an incident that happened June 10 in the town of Lyons.
Deputies said Baker was involved in a physical altercation that injured another individual. He was charged with third-degree assault.
Baker was taken to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office for processing and released with an appearance ticket for Lyons Town Court at a later date, deputies said.
