A Williamson woman was arrested on a warrant after a Wayne County traffic stop investigation.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office said Cassandra M. Ackerson, 30, of Ridge Road in Williamson, was arrested following a traffic stop that happened around 3:03 a.m. March 29, 2025, on Ridge Road in Williamson.
Deputies allege Ackerson was found with cocaine during the traffic stop.
Ackerson was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and issued traffic citations for operating without a license and operating without plate lamps, according to the sheriff’s office.
She was taken to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for processing and then to the Wayne County Jail to await centralized arraignment.
