Plenty the Diner sets opening date in Naples

A beloved Naples landmark is coming back to life, according to the Daily Messenger, with Plenty the Diner set to open June 15 at the former Bob’s and Ruth’s restaurant site.

Owners Brendan and Michelle Halloran bought the long-vacant North Main Street building in early 2025 and spent more than a year renovating it. The new diner will serve breakfast and lunch, feature scratch-made menu items, and expand production for Plenty the Bakery and Brendan Halloran’s Kimchenius! kimchi business.

The project revives one of Naples’ most recognizable buildings, which first opened as Bob’s and Ruth’s in 1950. A second phase of renovations is planned for the former lounge area, but owners say their immediate focus is opening the diner and welcoming customers back.
