Tuesday brought postseason games and regular season finales across the Wayne-Finger Lakes as standout performances and sectional victories highlighted another busy night of spring sports action.
Victor boys lacrosse knocked off Brighton behind a six-goal night from Colin Wheeler, while Penn Yan stayed hot with Braden Fingar leading another balanced offensive attack.
In flag football, East Rochester rolled behind four touchdown passes from Alex LaBounty, and Wayne got scores from Bailey Cook and Sydney Howard in a win over East High. On the courts, several local teams advanced in sectional tennis action, while Mynderse boys golf edged Livonia for the Class B sectional title behind a 38 from Harrison Wirth.
