Eastview Mall has added a new tenant blending banking services, coffee and coworking space with the opening of a new Capital One Café location.
Mall officials announced the café is now open outside Dick’s House of Sport, introducing the financial company’s retail café concept to the Victor shopping destination.
The new location combines traditional café offerings with in-person banking support, meeting space and free WiFi for customers looking to work or study remotely.
According to Eastview Mall, guests can access Capital One banking services, reserve meeting rooms and purchase coffee and food regardless of whether they bank with the company.
Capital One cardholders receive 50% off handcrafted beverages when paying with eligible cards, according to the announcement.
Mall officials described the new store’s design as “sharp” and said a formal grand opening celebration is planned for next month.
Capital One Cafés have expanded nationally in recent years as banks continue experimenting with retail concepts designed to create more casual, community-oriented customer spaces.
Eastview Mall has continued attracting a mix of traditional retailers, entertainment venues and experiential concepts as malls nationwide work to diversify beyond conventional storefront shopping.
