The Buffalo Bills’ 2026 regular-season schedule has officially been unveiled, highlighted by nationally televised games, holiday appearances, and the franchise’s first regular-season opener at the new Highmark Stadium.
Buffalo begins the season on the road September 13 with a 1 p.m. matchup against the Houston Texans before quickly turning around for its home opener four days later. The Bills will welcome the Detroit Lions to Orchard Park on Thursday, September 17, in an 8:15 p.m. kickoff.
The schedule includes several high-profile primetime contests throughout the season. Buffalo is set to visit the Los Angeles Rams for Monday Night Football on October 12 before another Monday night road game against the Minnesota Vikings on November 9. The Bills will also travel to face the Green Bay Packers in a Sunday Night Football matchup on December 13.
Holiday football will once again put Buffalo in the national spotlight. The Bills are scheduled to host the Kansas City Chiefs on Thanksgiving night, November 26, at 8:20 p.m. Buffalo will also play on Christmas Day, heading to Denver for a Friday afternoon game against the Broncos on December 25 that will stream on Netflix.
Buffalo’s bye week falls in Week 7, giving the team a midseason break before a stretch that includes multiple division games and several road tests.
The Bills open AFC East competition October 4 against the New England Patriots at home. Buffalo will later host the Miami Dolphins on November 22 before closing the regular season against the New York Jets in a Week 18 matchup with the date and kickoff time still to be announced.
