What began as a domestic dispute in Clyde ended with charges after deputies say a woman falsely claimed a weapon was involved.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reported the arrest of 24-year-old Robin Elia following an investigation into a domestic incident in the village.
Authorities allege Elia falsely told 911 dispatchers and responding deputies that a gun had been pointed at her during an altercation with her ex-boyfriend.
She was charged with falsely reporting an incident in the third degree and was scheduled to appear in Clyde Village Court.
