A long-running Finger Lakes fundraiser supporting people with breast cancer is set to return next month, with tickets already in high demand and additional ways for the public to participate.
The 19th annual Embrace Your Sisters “Tea at Two” Fashion Show Fundraiser will take place Sunday, May 3 at Casa Larga Vineyards & Winery, with doors opening at 12:30 p.m.
Organizers say the event has sold out for six consecutive years, continuing a streak that underscores both its popularity and the growing need for the services it supports. Those still hoping to attend can join a waiting list, while the public can participate through an online silent auction open ahead of the event.
The fundraiser benefits Embrace Your Sisters, a nonprofit that provides short-term emergency financial assistance to individuals undergoing breast cancer treatment across 13 counties in the Finger Lakes and surrounding region.
Over more than two decades, the organization has distributed nearly $1 million to help cover essential living expenses such as housing, utilities and other day-to-day costs.
