Supporters of the Aurora Volunteer Fire Department will have a chance to hit the course while backing local emergency services at an upcoming golf tournament fundraiser in Cayuga County.
The department is hosting its annual event on Saturday, June 6 at the Wells College Golf Course, combining a day of golf with community fundraising efforts.
Registration is scheduled from noon to 12:30 p.m., followed by a shotgun start at 1 p.m. The tournament will follow a three-person, nine-hole scramble format.
Organizers said the cost is $100 per person, which includes golf, a cart, and a meal.
In addition to the tournament, the event will feature games, a silent auction, a 50/50 drawing, live music, and prizes for top teams.
Those interested in signing up can contact the Wells College Golf Course or reach out to organizers directly by phone or text.
Proceeds from the event will support the Aurora Volunteer Fire Department and its ongoing emergency response services.
