A man was taken into custody Friday in the town of Potter on an out-of-state warrant, according to the Yates County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies arrested the individual on Ferguson Corners Road during the afternoon.
Authorities identified the man as Ulys G. Poore Jr., 48, of Rushville.
He was charged as a fugitive from justice under an active warrant issued in Lee County, Virginia.
Deputies transported him to the Yates County Jail, where he was held pending CAP arraignment.
