Utility representatives will meet with customers later this month during a community outreach event in Wayne County.
NYSEG and RG&E will host a Community Connection event on Thursday, March 26 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Wallington Fire Department in Sodus.
The open-house style event will allow residents to speak directly with utility staff and learn about several energy programs and services.
Officials say information will be available on the Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP), smart meters, energy efficiency programs and local utility projects. Staff will also be available to help customers with billing questions or concerns.
The event is designed to give customers an opportunity to get assistance and information in person.
