A domestic dispute in Sodus led to the arrest of a Rochester woman Sunday afternoon after deputies said a child was present during the altercation.
Ashley N. Beerse, 25, of Oak Street in Rochester, was arrested following the investigation, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded around 12:52 p.m. March 1 to Ridge Road in Sodus for a reported domestic incident.
Authorities allege Beerse struck a man in the hand while attempting to stop him from recording an argument. Deputies said a child was between the two at the time.
Beerse was charged with harassment in the second degree and endangering the welfare of a child.
Deputies transported her to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for processing. She was later booked into the Wayne County Jail at 7 p.m.
